As CEO, Cameron’s role is to provide the leadership and management required to assure business success and sustainable growth in line with the strategic plan defined by the Board. His 15-year tenure at Sproule includes reserve and contingent resource evaluations, acquisitions, divestitures, security commission reports, reserve audits, and international property evaluations. Cam has provided expert witness testimony across the globe as well as support to legal teams for litigation purposes. Cam has also held various technical and management positions with Mobil Oil Canada and ExxonMobil Canada.
Jim Chisholm P.Eng.
With a 13-year tenure at Sproule and over 20 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, Chisholm is a seasoned engineering expert and business leader who has been instrumental at expanding Sproule’s footprint in the Latin American market. Focused on driving top-line growth for the organization, Jim also brings a wealth of technical expertise in reserves and resource evaluations within all major classification systems across the world and has extensive unconventional, heavy oil and enhanced oil recovery experience.
Scott Pennell P.Eng.
Chief Operating Officer
Scott is Chief Operating Officer at Sproule. He overseas Sproule’s global business operations and drives operational innovation throughout the organization. Scott has 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. His worldwide experience includes conventional and unconventional oil and gas resources. He is a deeply experienced engineering professional in the areas of reserves and resource evaluations, due diligence, and deliverability studies. Scott is currently a member of the program advisory committee at SAIT Polytechnic.
Alec Kovaltchouck P. Geo.
Vice President, Geoscience
Alec Kovaltchouk is responsible for leading the Geoscience department at Sproule. Alec has been a Sproule professional since 1997 and has over 32 years of industry experience. He has experience in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Russia (Dagestan, Siberia and the Volga-Ural region) and Ukraine. His worldwide experience includes conventional and unconventional oil and gas resources, including shale gas and shale oil, heavy oil and oil sands, and coal bed methane. Alec is fluent in English, Polish, Russian and Ukrainian.
Christoffer Mylde M.Sc.
Senior Vice President
Chris Mylde is currently Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Sproule in Calgary. As part of the senior leadership team at Sproule, he drives the company’s global growth strategy. Chris has over 20 years experience and speaks frequently at industry events and conferences around the world on key trends in global energy markets. Prior to joining Sproule, Chris spent 10 years in corporate finance and advisory with HSBC in London, Hong Kong and Toronto and Simmons, a boutique advisory firm focused exclusively on the energy sector. He has a B.Sc. in Economics and Economic History from the University of Warwick and an M.Sc. in European Political Economy from the London School of Economics. Chris has been pleased to serve as the Norwegian Honorary Consul for Southern Alberta since January 2019.

Senior Vice President, Consulting Services
An accomplished leader with a track record of driving innovation, Steve now leads Sproule’s Consulting Services team comprised of over sixty geoscience, engineering and commercial experts around the world. Steve is an experienced engineer with 15 years of experience in the areas of reserves evaluations and audits, supply studies, security commission reports, and resource assessments. An industry thinker and innovator, Steve has written several papers on property evaluation methodologies and best practices and helped develop several new offerings at Sproule.
Randy Green P.Geoph.
Senior Vice President, Asset Management
Randy is Senior Vice President of Asset Management. He has over 33 years of technical and executive management experience in the oil and gas industry, working in both public and private companies. Randy founded, built, and sold two junior oil and gas producing companies prior to taking a leadership role at Niven Fischer in 2008. He was instrumental in building the brand, expanding the services, growing the company and delivering on a value-added promise prior to Sproule’s acquisition of Niven Fischer. In his role at Sproule, Randy is responsible for growing the asset management business to meet client’s needs in a cost-effective and efficient manner. Randy balances his passion for business with a commitment to philanthropy and volunteerism including an eight-year term as a director of YMCA Calgary.
Brian Carnahan P.Eng.
Senior Vice President, Asset Operations
Brian is Senior Vice President of Asset Operations. He leads the Asset Operations team including land, accounting and engineering that is accountable for fulfilling the Asset Management mandates. Brian has over 35 years of experience in the Western Canadian oil and gas industry and has held senior engineering and operations management positions in junior to senior producing companies. Brian is responsible for delivering leadership and technical expertise on all projects and asset management assignments. Brian balances work with his longtime leadership and philanthropic commitment to the Rotary Club of Calgary East.

Mark has over 30 years of experience working in various capacities in the oil and gas industry in Calgary as well as internationally. As Senior Vice President, Corporate and Legal, and Corporate Secretary with Sproule, he provides oversight to the organization’s HR, Administrative Services and IT functions, and advises the company with respect to all legal matters.
Attila Szabo P.Eng.
Senior Vice President, North America
Attila is Senior Vice President of the Canada and U.S region. He has over 35 years of industry experience supporting acquisition, disposition and investment opportunities, technical due diligence, and financial and annual reporting requirements for various projects in Canada and internationally in Pakistan, India, China, Kuwait and the United States. He has also provided support to legal teams for litigation, and has provided expert witness testimony. In his current role, Attila is focused on developing and maintaining client relationships and on building market strategies to expand Sproule’s footprint in North America.

Krisztina is Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Sproule. She has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry and offers an extensive background in commercialization, strategic marketing, partnerships, business development and sales. Krisztina’s role is focused on developing and maintaining client relationships and on building market strategies to expand Sproule’s footprint in North America.
Christopher R. Gossen P. Eng.
Vice President, Asset Management
Christopher Gossen is a Professional Engineer with the Asset Management team at Sproule. Chris spent 22 years on the Exploration and Production side of the business where he used his values-based, collaborative leadership style to successfully lead multi-disciplinary teams in the evaluation, operation, and optimization of new and existing oil and gas operations. His experience covers the broad landscape of the WCSB including exploitation and development of the Montney liquids-rich gas formation in NW Alberta, heavy oil in NE Alberta, Upper Mannville liquids-rich gas in Central Alberta, shallow gas in SE Alberta and light oil properties in SW Saskatchewan. In his current role, Chris provides technical advisory services on company start-ups, new play development, acquisitions and related due diligence, production operations optimization and overall management and execution of decommissioning obligations.
Vice President, Europe, Middle East, and Africa
Danilo is an experienced oil & gas professional, having over 30 years of international career with large integrated oil and gas organizations and service companies. From field engineering to reservoir management, he has held various technical and managerial positions across the E&P industry’s development and production spectrum. Danilo has extensive experience in reserves and resources assessment (PRMS, SEC, AIM) and has a strong track record in leading integrated subsurface studies and volumetric estimations. In his current role, Danilo is focused on helping clients find best-fit solutions for their technical and commercial challenges. Danilo is currently vice-chair for the SPEE, Europe Chapter.
Regional Director, Latin America
Jorge Milanese is Sproule’s Regional Director of Latin America responsible for developing and executing Sproule’s client engagement strategy in the region. Jorge is an experienced oil and gas professional with expertise in domestic and international business development, acquisitions and divestitures, corporate development and upstream assets management. He had a leading role in a wide range of conventional and unconventional energy projects in North and South America. His areas of expertise include upstream investment opportunity identification, both in conventional and unconventional reservoirs, financial and technical evaluation, strategy development and contract negotiation and administration of operated and non-operated joint ventures. Jorge’s previous experience includes engagements with major global oil and gas operating companies as business development Vice President and Assets Vice President. Jorge has proudly served in the Argentinean Navy as a Naval Aviation Officer. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has a degree in aeronautical engineering. Jorge maintains membership in several professional organizations and societies.

As Senior Manager, Engineering, Deb is responsible for managing Sproule’s Denver office and is a critical part of the team that spearheads Sproule’s business development initiatives in the U.S. market. Deb’s 14-years of oil and gas industry experience includes reserve and contingent resource evaluations, acquisitions, divestitures, security commission reports, reserve audits, and international property evaluations. Ms. Ryan also serves as an expert witness. Deb has extensive experience building Petrel and dynamic simulation models and also provides instruction for various conventional and unconventional reservoir engineering classes for PetroSkills. Prior to joining Sproule, Deb held various technical and management positions with MHA Petroleum Consultants, Arrow Energy and Woodside Energy.

As Senior Manager, Engineering, Alan is responsible for managing Sproule’s Bakersfield office and is a key member of the team spearheading Sproule’s business development initiatives in the U.S. market. Alan’s 40-years of oil and gas industry experience includes reserve and contingent resource evaluations, reservoir simulation, thermal recovery, waterflood evaluation, steam flood evaluation, gas storage and compressed air energy storage, acquisitions, divestitures, U.S. Security and Exchange Commission reports, reserve audits, and international property evaluations. Alan also provides expert witness reports and testimony. Prior to joining Sproule, Alan held various technical and management positions with MHA Petroleum Consultants, SERCO, Inc., SI International, Intera Information Technologies, Jerry R. Bergeson & Associates, and Tenneco Oil E&P.

Meghan Klein is a Senior Engineering Manager leading a dynamic team involved in reservoir characterization, reserves evaluations and audits. She conducts technical and responsible member reviews and is a project leader for various reserves evaluation and audit projects, due diligence projects and strategic advisory projects in Canada, the United States (Williston Basin), North Sea (United Kingdom), Africa (Cote d’Ivoire, Nigeria), Thailand, China, Indonesia, Australia, and Iraq.
