Sproule and La Asociacion Mexicana de Empresas del Sector Petrolero A.C. (AMESPAC) are pleased to present a two-day workshop in Polanco, CDMX featuring the fundamentals of the Petroleum Resources Management System of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE-PRMS).

The workshop will provide examples of the classification of recoverable volumes of oil and gas in prospective resources, contingent resources, and finally, reserves as the prospects advance to maturity. The practical materials covered in the workshop include advice and ideas applicable to the classification of recoverable volumes of oil and gas accumulations and evaluate the range of uncertainty of the estimates of recoverable volumes.

Although the workshop has a more technical approach related to the classification and estimation of reserves and resources, the course is designed for engineers, geologists, geophysicists, land negotiators, accountants, financial investment professionals, technologists, and anyone else who wants to understand the concepts applicable to the PRMS.
